Instructions for Installing Older Bible Navigator® CDs
under Microsoft’s Vista® Operating System
Introduction
Many packaged products that use Bible Navigator® software were manufactured before Microsoft released their Vista® operating system as a successor to Microsoft Windows XP. These pre-Vista CDs can be used to install Bible Navigator on your Vista computer by following these instructions.
Step-by-Step Instructions

- If prompted, select the option to “Install or run the autoplay.exe” program.
- When prompted that “An unidentified program wants access to your computer”, click on the “Allow, I trust this program” option.
- Follow the Bible Navigator installation instructions on the screen by clicking “Next” at each prompt. Do NOT change any of the defaults offered by the installation screens. If you receive any error messages, select the IGNORE option.
- Click the “Finish” button to complete the installation.
- Remove the CD from the computer.
- Do NOT start the newly installed Bible Navigator program.
- If you have additional Bible Navigator product CDs, repeat these instructions for each product CD.

If instead your browser offers an OPEN option, click OPEN to begin the installation. Otherwise, find the saved file (named BNVistaUpgrade) and double-click it to begin the upgrade installation.
