What is Bible Navigator? >Bible Navigator is an
easy-to-use PC CD-Rom software that includes Bible translations and
other reference works. You can cross reference instantly, customize your
desktop with your most frequently used reference books and favorite
translations, read Scripture references without clicking, receive
enhancements automatically with SmartUpdate Technology and more. You’ll
discover how to write your own library content using the built-in word
processor or Microsoft Word® and how to create personal documents that
fully integrate with the cross-referencing and search tools. Multi-user
preferences help to keep each family member’s studies separate. And,
it’s internet enhanced to help you learn from others and help others.

What Bible Navigator products are currently available? >The
Deluxe Edition, the Holman Christian Standard Bible edition, New
American Commentary (4 Volume), New American Commentary (31 Volume).
There is a bulk purchase offer for the Holman CSB edition. Customized
editions for church and parachurch organizations are also available.
What are "unlocked" and "locked" books? >Books
you are allowed to read and search are known as "unlocked books", and
are shown with the book icon. There may be other books present, known as
"locked books" which you are not allowed to read or search, and they are
shown with the padlock icon.
How do I order "locked books" >You
can purchase any locked book. You can browse the list of add-on books by
clicking the View menu and selecting Add-on Books. Click on a book
category to see the list of books in that category. Note that books you
already own will not be shown.
How Do I Use the Add-On Catalog? >The Add-On
Catalog is included on the Bible Navigator installation and is updated
via the Internet for Bible Navigator users with an Internet conection.
For those without an Internet connection, add-on books can be purchased
by calling 1-800-888-9898. To make sure you have the latest list of
add-ons and the latest sale prices, click on the Help menu, and select
"Check for Updates."

What Are SmartUpdates >Your Bible Navigator software
is capable of keeping itself up to date. All you need is a connection to
the Internet. This update capability is called ""SmartUpdate." You can
change how often Bible Navigator performs a SmartUpdate via the Internet
Settings tab of the Program Settings window. To manually perform a
SmartUpdate, click the Help menu and select Check For Updates.
How Do I Use the Tutorial Videos? >The Tutorial
Videos will help you quickly become familiar with Bible Navigator.You
can access them from the EasyStart Screen, or by clicking on the Help
Menu, then selecting Tutorial Videos. The videos run in a window on your
computer and do not require any additional software to be installed.
What is the Preview Period? >Titles in your
library that are shown in red indicate that the books are being made
available for a 30 day preview period. Black titles are used for books
that you own permanently. To purchase any of the books shown in red, use
the Add-on Book Catalog.
How Do I Register My Software? >When you first
install Bible Navigator, you will be prompted to register your
software. Follow the step-by-step instructions and you will be
registered in minutes.
